Good birthday parties usually are full of wonderful surprises and golden memories to last a lifetime. The Brookville Volunteer Fire Company is planning a 100th birthday gathering and wants all the area communities to participate in the fun.

There will be two evenings of family fun on September 18th and 19th, 2009 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. If your club, activity, church group, organization, school or team would like to set up a booth featuring a game, activity or food, please contact Tyler Bullers at:

Any of the above listed groups are also invited to place a float, a
Marching unit, a walking unit, a vehicle or other entry in the Grand Parade on Saturday the 19th by contacting:

All community members are urged to send anniversary greetings, letters of congratulations, posters or certificates of appreciation for 100 years of continuous service to the Brookville community to the above address as well. These will all be displayed at the Open House on the 17th of September.

Anyone with pictures, artifacts or other memorabilia who would like to display them at the Fire Station during the Open House is asked to contact Charles Turnbull at the above number. All will be returned to contributors.
